A Day in The "D"….Detroit Vegan Eats and Day at the Market
Paul and I traveled to downtown Detroit to the Eastern Market today. It was 70 degrees, an anomaly for an October day in Michigan, so we took advantage of the weather and went to gather our weekly veggies and have lunch at one of our favorite Detroit restaurants Detroit Vegan Soul . It was packed, and we had to wait for a table, but the wait was worth it.
I got their millet burger with coconut bacon, and Paul order their ‘Catfish’ tofu sandwich. Both choices were amazing. They serve their sandwiches with homemade sweet potato chips and slaw or salad.
